Note: These caves are not to be visited without UT Grotto!

Whirlpool

Click here for a Google map to Whirlpool.

From Mopac go west on Wm. Cannon (going south that's a right hand turn) take Wm. Cannon to Brush Country, which is a light. Turn South onto Brush Country (going west that's a left). Here is the tricky part. Go through the four way stop intersection at Convict Hill. You will see an overpass overhead. Immediately after the intersection, on the far right side, is a little asphalt ramp onto the grass/dirt. Note the arrows on the map below.

(Someone asked me how to get there if you don't have a car. Turns out there is a bus that stops right there. The transit sign said 333 Wm Cannon.)

Maple Run

Click here for a Google map to Maple Run.

Take Mopac S to Wm. Cannon. Go east on Wm. Cannon to Brodie. Go South on Brodie to Deer Lane. Take a right (west) onto Deer Lane (its a light) and the sign for the Karst Preserve will be on your right. There is a parking area in the grass on the left. Be careful, people drive like maniacs on Deer Lane and there is a little bit of a limited sight distance.

Airmans

There are office buildings at the 360 Access to the greenbelt. On weekends and evenings you can park in the office parking lot; otherwise, go to the gravel lot for the park.

There is a traffic signal on 360. From 360 North, take a left at this signal (it's a long signal), then take your first left into the business park.

Meet in the office parking lot. The cave isn't too hard to find, but describing how to find it is, so we will meet at the parking lot.

Have cell #s handy just in case.
